The AI Knowledge Agent is available directly on your Kowiki web wiki through a built-in chat interface. Logged-in users can ask questions, receive cited answers, and have multi-turn conversations without leaving the wiki.
The AI agent chat is accessible in two ways:
Both interfaces provide the same functionality. The floating widget is convenient for quick questions while browsing, and the dedicated page offers more space for longer conversations.
Responses typically appear within a few seconds. Longer or more complex questions that require synthesizing multiple sources may take slightly longer.
Answers on the web wiki display citations as clickable links embedded in or below the response text. Each citation references a specific page in your knowledge base.
This inline format lets you scan the answer and selectively verify the parts that matter most to you.
The chat interface supports follow-up questions within the same session:
The agent maintains context throughout the conversation, so you can ask clarifying questions or drill deeper into a topic without repeating background information.
To reset the conversation context and start fresh:
Start a new conversation when switching to an unrelated topic for the most accurate results.
Previous conversations are saved and accessible from the chat panel. You can revisit past exchanges to review answers you received earlier. Conversation history is tied to your user account and is not visible to other users.
The chat interface is available to all logged-in users whose workspace has the AI Knowledge Agent enabled and whose plan includes the feature. Visitors who are not logged in do not see the chat widget.
As with all agent interactions, answers are scoped to content the logged-in user has permission to view. See Section-Level Permissions for details.
