Sources are the platforms where your documents originate. Kowiki connects to:
When you connect a source, Kowiki syncs the documents you select and keeps them up to date automatically. You can connect multiple sources from the same platform (e.g., several Google Drive accounts) or mix platforms together.

Apps are the channels through which your team accesses the wiki. Kowiki supports three delivery methods:

Sections are organizational containers that give your wiki structure. Each section groups related pages together and can have its own permissions.
Think of sections as the table of contents for your knowledge base.
Pages are individual documents in your wiki. They come from two sources:
Each page belongs to a section and inherits that section's permissions. Pages retain their original formatting and are fully searchable.
Every workspace member has a role that determines what they can do. Kowiki uses four roles:

| Owner | Full control. Manages billing, workspace settings, and all content. One per workspace. |
| Admin | Manages sources, apps, sections, team members, and content. Cannot change billing or delete the workspace. |
| Editor | Creates and manages sections and pages. Cannot modify sources, apps, or team membership. |
| Viewer | Browses the wiki, searches content, and uses the AI Knowledge Agent. Cannot edit anything. |
Roles apply workspace-wide, while section permissions provide additional content-level access control.

Sync is the process that keeps your wiki current with your source documents. When a file changes in Google Drive, SharePoint, or any connected source, Kowiki detects and pulls in the update.
Sync frequency depends on your plan:

You can always trigger a manual sync from the Sources page, regardless of your plan. The initial sync after connecting a source runs immediately.
The AI Knowledge Agent is a built-in assistant that answers questions using your connected documents. When a team member asks a question — through Slack, Teams, or the web wiki — the agent:
